Because Grandfather Alojz set us on the right path, we continue today with a tradition that allows us to make the best products we can. We still use the same mill as in 1929 and still process oil in the same way as then. And we will keep it that way forever.

A story of three generations
Knowledge of Alojz Kocbek has been passed down and nurtured through generations, and today the responsibility of the family is borne by his grandson Gorazd Kocbek. Gorazd feels great respect and deep gratitude for this knowledge and continues to develop the brand. KÓCBEK as a forward-looking company, is closely linked to the past. His whole family stands with him and his daughter Kiana, who is already in love with the oil business, is also a proficient tinkerer in the local oil refinery.

Unique production
To offer you pumpkin seed oil that is uncompromisingly of the highest quality, we are grateful for the natural features of our environment. Our location in Prlekija has the best climate and soil in the world and it is here that the best pumpkins thrive, giving us the best pumpkin seeds and therefore the best pumpkin oil.
In the oil production process we do not use rapid or high heating, we don't look for shortcuts and we don't add colours, thickeners or preservatives.
Pumpkin seed oil can be added to a variety of dishes and salads, but it can also be used in warm dishes to give them a special touch or a touch of distinctiveness.
We use two production processes to give you a choice of the different oils we offer: warm pressing - the traditional production process and cold pressing
With the longest tradition, knowledge and experience, we offer all our customers the highest quality and unique unrefined oils.
You will find us on Stara Gora, on the main road that takes you in the direction of G. Radgona - Radenci - Kapela - Sveti Jurij ob Ščavnici - Ptuj. This is the NE part of Slovenia, the Ščavniška valley in the heart of the wine-growing Slovenian Highlands, near the unspoilt nature of Lake Blaguš.
