Because our grandfather Alojz outlined the right path, even today we continue the tradition that allows us to make the best products we can make. We still use the same mill as in 1929 and still process the oil in the same way as then. And we will keep that forever.

Alojz Kocbek‘s knowledge has been passed on and nurtured through generations, and today the responsibility of the family lies with his grandson Gorazd Kocbek. Gorazd feels great respect and deep gratitude for this knowledge, so he continues to develop the KÓCBEK brand as a forward-looking company in close connection with the past.

To be able to offer you pumpkin seed oil, which is uncompromisingly of the highest quality, we thank the natural resources of our environment. Our location in Prlekija region, Slovenia has the best climatic conditions and soil in the world and here grow the best pumpkins that give us the best pumpkin seeds and therefore we can produce the best pumpkin seed oil.
We do not use rapid or high heating in the oil production process, we do not look for shortcuts and we do not add dyes, thickeners or preservatives.
Pumpkin seed oil can be added to various dishes and salads, but it is also used to prepare warm dishes, to which we conjure a special emphasis or a touch of uniqueness.
To be able to choose between different oils in our offer, we use two production processes: hot-pressing – traditional production process and cold-pressing.
With the oldest tradition, knowledge and experience we offer all customers the highest quality and unique unrefined oils.
You can find us on Stara Gora along the main road that takes you in the direction of G. Radgona – Radenci – Kapela – Sveti Jurij ob Ščavnici – Ptuj. This is the NE part of Slovenia, the Ščavniška valley in the heart of the wine-growing region Slovenske gorice, near the unspoiled nature of Lake Blaguška.
