In the heart of Slovenske gorice, Slovenia more precisely in Stara Gora near Sveti Jurij ob Ščavnici, there is an old oil mill, where the third generation of Kocbek’s are running the production of quality pumpkin seed oil. Alojz and his wife Antonija passed on their knowledge and experience to their son Anton, who in turn passed it on to his descendant Gorazd. As the third generation, the latter only enriched the pumpkin seed oil and expanded the word to the world where it is increasingly sought after today. Today, the products of the Kocbek oil mill are recognizable both in its origin country Slovenia and throughout the world and enrich the most prestigious dishes for gourmets from Dubai to Japan and America.
